Walanga is a remote village in Uganda, Africa where each day they trek over 3 miles each way to retrieve dirty drinking water from an open pond. Together we can transform their lives with the gift of clean, safe water by drilling a deepwater borehole in their village.

We’re hosting a Walk 4 Water because we’ve seen how something as simple as a well can transform a community: children can attend school instead of spending hours fetching water, families stay healthy, and entire villages gain hope for a brighter future.

In Walanga Village, Uganda, water is not a given—it’s a daily battle. Women and girls walk over 5 kilometers each way, each day to collect dirty, disease-ridden water from a shared open pond, risking illness, assault, and even death. This burden robs children of education, endangers lives, and keeps the entire community in survival mode.

Your registration fee, along with any funds you raise will support the drilling of a deep water borehole in a needful village in Uganda.
Adult (18+) = $50
Youth (5-17) = $25
Children 4 and Under = Free
